EMCC is working with Goodman Community Center, Vera Court Neighborhood Center, and Kennedy Heights Community Center to keep youth on the north and eastside fit and healthy. Check out an article about the program here.
Spring is almost here! If you’ve always wanted to learn how to garden, we have spots available in our Community Garden – join us on March 19th from 6-7pm or call 249-0861 for more info!
We will also be offering an Information Session on Immigration to help people understand Obama’s Executive Order on 3/31 at 1pm. Spread the word!
While you’re working out, earn free food for the EMCC food pantry by signing up for the Million Pound Challenge. We get 10lbs of free food for every hour you work out or pound you lose. November is packed full of fun events! The 18th Annual Bowlathon is Saturday November 8th! There’s a trip to the Overture Center for “An Irish Christmas,” a hayride through the lights at Olin Park, the EMCC Annual Meeting, a service trip to Second Harvest Foodbank, and much more!

The Bowlathon is Saturday, November 8th from 12-3pm at Dream Lanes East (13 Atlas Court).
Anyone who raises $50 in pledges receives a prize, free bowling, and a t-shirt! Anyone who pledges a bowler receives a raffle ticket for a prize drawing.
